CAFÉ VOLTAIRE is the newest coffee café addition to Benicia, the only one of its kind. Locally owned and operated by Jan Cox Golovich, Café Voltaire serves exclusively fair trade and organic coffees, teas, and pastries. Its location at the water's end in the Tannery Building on historic First Street, offers Benicians and tourists a beautiful setting and a friendly, comfortable place to meet, work, share coffee and conversation.

CAFÉ VOLTAIRE is a “Model Green Business” dedicated to sustainable business principles including fair trade, organic products, environmentally-sound practices and a strong commitment to community service.

CAFÉ VOLTAIRE has procured the services of local Benicia artisans- Duvall’s Coffee Roasting and Delicious Deliveries to provide the best and freshest roasted coffee and organic food. The café has a European design, indoor & outdoor seating, and is equipped with wireless internet.
